Here at Candymail, we ship worldwide from our UK-based warehouse! 🌍

Our team carefully packs every order to help your treats arrive safely, whether you’re ordering from the UK, Europe, the USA or further afield.

International routes may occasionally experience delays or temporary service suspensions due to courier restrictions, customs changes or local delivery issues.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, parcel weight and selected service.

🇬🇧 UK Shipping

We aim to dispatch orders placed by 2pm Monday–Friday on the same working day wherever possible.

Orders placed after 2pm, at weekends or during particularly busy periods may take an additional 1–2 working days to process.

Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates and may include additional time for processing. In many cases, parcels arrive sooner.

📦 Pre-Order Items

Orders containing pre-order products are normally shipped together once all items are available.

If you don't want your in-stock items delayed, we recommend placing pre-order products as a separate order.

UK Delivery Options

💡 Please Note

Free UK tracked delivery applies to qualifying UK orders over £50 and up to 10kg.

Heavier qualifying orders between 10kg and 30kg receive discounted courier delivery.

Orders over 30kg, or orders requiring multiple parcels, may incur additional delivery charges.

Delivery estimates begin once your order has been dispatched.

Weekend delivery is not guaranteed unless a specific weekend service is available and selected at checkout.

Courier deliveries are usually made between 8am and 9pm.

We reserve the right to select the most suitable courier for your order based on parcel size, weight and delivery location.

🇮🇪 Ireland Shipping

Orders to Ireland are shipped using tracked courier services.

Delivery usually takes approximately 1–4 working days from dispatch, depending on parcel weight, courier routing and customs processing.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order weight and delivery address.

🇪🇺 EU Shipping

We aim to make ordering from the EU as straightforward as possible.

For EU orders under €150, VAT is included where applicable.

We’ve made EU checkout clearer by including a VAT and duty contribution upfront, helping to reduce the likelihood of unexpected courier or customs charges when your parcel arrives.

However, customs authorities and couriers may still apply additional import duties, taxes, clearance charges or local handling fees in some circumstances. These charges are outside of Candymail's control and remain the customer's responsibility where applicable.

If a parcel is refused because of customs charges and returned to us, the original shipping charge will not be refunded. Any return courier, customs or associated charges may also be deducted from the refund.

🇪🇺 Important EU Customs Update – From July 2026

From July 2026, additional customs charges may apply to some low-value parcels entering the EU from non-EU countries.

Individual EU countries may also apply local parcel handling or customs administration charges.

These charges are outside of our control and are the customer's responsibility where applicable.

We continue to monitor changes across EU member states and will update our shipping services and checkout where required.

🇺🇸 USA & Non-EU Shipping

USA and other non-EU orders are shipped using tracked international courier services such as DHL Express Worldwide, DHL Economy Select, or another suitable tracked service depending on the destination, parcel size and service availability.

Typical delivery is approximately 1–5 working days from dispatch, although customs processing and local delivery networks can affect this.

🧾 Customs & Import Charges

Customers outside the UK are responsible for checking their country's import rules before ordering.

Some countries may restrict or prohibit the import of certain food, confectionery, drinks or chocolate products.

Any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees or local handling charges are the customer's responsibility unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.

Time spent in customs is not included within our delivery estimates.

If a parcel is refused because duties or taxes haven't been paid, or because of local import restrictions, the parcel may be returned to us or, in some circumstances, destroyed or abandoned by the courier.

Where this happens, original shipping costs will not be refundable, and any return shipping, customs or courier charges may be deducted from any refund due. If the goods are destroyed or cannot be returned to us, a refund may not be possible.

🇺🇸 Important USA Customs Information

Following changes to US import rules from 29 August 2025, commercial shipments entering the USA may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs charges regardless of order value.

We continue to monitor US customs and courier requirements and will adjust the shipping services available at checkout where necessary.

🍫 A Note About Chocolate

Please be aware that ordering chocolate or other heat-sensitive confectionery for delivery to hot climates is at the customer's risk.

We pack orders carefully, but prolonged exposure to high temperatures during transit can cause chocolate to soften or melt.

During periods of particularly hot weather, we may occasionally delay dispatch of chocolate-containing orders where we believe this will help prevent heat damage.
