Heatwave Alert: Important Update for Chocolate Orders

At Candymail UK, we love bringing you the best American sweets, chocolate, snacks and drinks from around the world. However, during periods of very hot weather, we need to take extra care with orders containing chocolate.

Why Chocolate Orders May Be Delayed

Chocolate is very sensitive to heat. During a heatwave, temperatures inside delivery vehicles and sorting depots can become much higher than the temperature outside. Unfortunately, once an order leaves our warehouse, we cannot control the temperature while it is in transit.

To help protect your order, we may temporarily hold orders containing chocolate until cooler weather returns.

What This Means for Your Order

If your order contains chocolate, we may delay dispatch until temperatures are more suitable for shipping.

This helps reduce the risk of melted, damaged or heat-affected chocolate arriving with you. Your order will still be safely packed and prepared, but it may be held back until we believe the weather conditions are better for delivery.

Want Your Order Shipped Anyway?

If you would still like us to ship your order during hot weather, please email us at info@candymail.co.uk

By requesting dispatch during a heatwave, you understand that chocolate may soften or melt during transit.

Our Advice During Hot Weather

For the best experience, we recommend:

  • Choosing non-chocolate sweets, snacks and drinks during very hot weather
  • Ordering chocolate once temperatures cool down
  • Keeping an eye on your emails for any order updates from us
  • Contacting our team if you need your order urgently

Thank You for Understanding

We know delays can be frustrating, but our goal is to make sure your Candymail order reaches you in the best possible condition. Thank you for your patience and understanding during hot weather — enjoy the sunshine!
